working on my new patch bag

It's almost done, but it still needs a final touch.

This is the natural colour leather handle which I'll be hand sewing it today.
The leather came in a near white colour, and it didn't match well with the patchwork.
I know it will change into a nice tan colour in time, but I couldn't wait..
so, I've coated the leather using an olive oil!

I know, unbelievable, but it works!
It now has a beautiful tan with "used" look.
I love it!

The top one had it's edge shined.
Just to compare the difference between polished and unpolished edge.

This is my leather hand sewing kit!
I'll carry it to my couch and work on the bag while watching my favourite DVD, Star Trek!
