Veg tan leather handle on hand woven fabric bag

Just sewn on the handle on this hand woven bag.
I chose this veg tan natural leather as I love how its colour changes as you use it.
I have hand sewn them neatly.

Just love it!!!

The bag will be in my mum's stall at the upmarket in June.
The stall name is Vectis Ori

Japanese design bag for Etsy and hand woven bag

Just finished making this bag requested through Etsy.
I'll put it up in my Etsy shop sometime today.
Here are other photos I couldn't put on the Etsy shop.

Inside the back side pocket is a zipper pocket.

Inside the front side pocket are 2 small pockets.

there are 4 pockets inside the centre compartment.

I was asked by my mum to make something with her hand woven material

so I decided to make a bag.
It's not finished yet as it needs a handle and a tab at the end of the zipper.

It opens both way, and

it opens very wide like this, and has a very bright japanese fabric inside!
Both hand woven material and the Japanese fabric inside are stabilized so they should last long.

I have hand stitched a natural leather at the bottom.

Hand stitching the bottom of the bag is really hard...
My neck, finger and my eyes hurt!!

Requested bag and smart phone case

Just finished making this "mainly leather" bag.
She has requested to have a leather strap, leather flap and the front bit to be a leather without a pocket.

Back side is a black canvas cotton

as I can't do this with leather...

The bottom is leather too.

Lovely liberty all over inside the bag.

Very simple but lovely bag.

And this is the requested smart phone case.
It's samsung galaxy S4 and is bigger than iphone.

Sweets and cute dog!
The case is coated with resin so it is very hard like plastic.

I'll be working on the request I got from Etsy next.

St Hilda's Bazaar and the last minute leather creation

Thank you all for coming to the St Hilda's Bazaar!
I hope you had a great time!
Since I don't go out or socialize a lot,
this is my only chance to get in touch with people
and see what's going on outside my small world.

My cardboard display were great,
and I only needed to take two Ikea blue bags with me to carry everything
including the display!
Anyway, it was a great day and I enjoyed every minute of it!
Thank you!!

This is the stall of my friend, Kodemari (Angel Beads).

I always use her soap, and can't use anything else now.
I should have bought the decopage soap too!

By the way, I made this leather purse in the last minute.
I didn't know if I can finish it in time, but I did!

It has the magic back zipper too!
I didn't put the little pocket below the zipper
as it looked fine without it.

The inside is this lovely print!
Makes you happy every time you open the purse.

It is carefully hand stitched, so I had to put the price up a bit...

This is the requested iphone case in red liberty.

I'll be working on the requested case and bags from today!

anti theft shoulder bag

This is the bag I used to call "Best Buddy" bag, but now
I have renamed it to "anti theft" shoulder bag.
As the name suggests simply, is a bag which looks normal, but
is very handy in keeping your valuable protected against thieves.
This is the new version, and I have made it for myself as a test.
I had a request for a leather flap, and wasn't sure how it will match with the fabric,
but it looks good enough!

Very simple, but the leather flap makes it interesting.
I wanted to try adding stitches on the leather flap, and it came out great!

The back side looks like this with the new version of the zipper access.

I have changed it to 3D zipper opening.
The previous version was a flat zipper opening, but the new fabric stabilizer made it
a bit hard to take purse out from it
It's no problem once you get used to it, but I just wanted to try a different opening
and here it is.

It opens wide, and is so much easier to take long purse out from the opening.
By the way, this opening is connected to

the inside of the zipped up compartment.
so you put your purse inside this zipped up compartment for extra security,

but you can take it out very easily using the back access zipper.

hand stitched leather iphone 5 case part 2

Just made this iphone 5 case last night for the Bazaar.

This is a softer leather compared to the previous one.

I have used the liberty fabric inside, and added a window pocket for your card.
Since the card pocket needed to be wide enough for the card,
the stitches didn't come out nicely as it was too close to the edge..
This will be sold at the same price as the normal ones at the Bazaar because of this stitches.

hand made leather case for iphone 5C

Just made this case for my husband as he has just bought his first iphone 5C.
Since he insisted on having the case made in leather, I tried it with this beautiful natural leather.

There are no pockets as he doesn't need it.
D ring is stitched at the bottom end as he will use the strap around his wrist.
All stitches are done by my fragile hand! ; )

Since the leather is quite hard, it is a bit bulky when folding the flap on the other side,
but I'm sure it will soften as he uses it.
