Broad Bean 5 way sling bag

Just finished making this cute 5 way bag!

This front bit is a hidden zipper pocket where

you can store maps, catalogues, etc on your trip.

I have hand stitched this circle sashiko pattern.

Back side has a zipper opening and a small bean shaped pocket.

You can store your travel card, parking ticket, etc here.

and you can store your valuable in through this zipper opening and

it is stored automatically inside this whole size inner zipper pocket.

Double zipper protection for your purse, but an easy access from your side.

The other side has a big bean shaped pocket and a zipper pocket.

The bag opens wide like this, so it is very easy to pack things in.

Make the strap long and use it like a messenger bag,

or

make it short and use it like a sling bag,

or

just use it as a shoulder bag,

or

make the strap long, pull both sides and use it as a back pack,

or

just hold the top tab and use it like a hand bag.

No time for craft

My craft job hasn't been going smoothly as I hoped

as I've been busy doing other jobs such as cleaning, washing, gardening, shopping, and cooking.

But I can't complain as it's my main job at home.

This morning, I've made this tasty pork "kaku ni" to make Chinese sticky rice meal.

It takes about 2.5 hours to make this pork, and then another hour to cook the rice.

Hope it goes well as it is my first time making this meal.

In the mean time, I baked blueberry and apple cinnamon muffins for us humans,

and these vegetable cookies for my doggy,

and this chicken liver cookie for my doggy,

and this egg shell calcium supplement for my doggy,

and this brown rice cream for my doggy!

I've been working like a chef today!

It is time consuming to cook for my dog, but it is so rewarding when you see how healthy and happy she is.

Just finished making this simple purse made to order.

Hard & soft zipper bag

Just made this new design bag.

I wanted to make a soft looking bag

but having a hard shell around the zipper.

I have added two gathered pockets at the front.

Hard shell around the zipper allows you to easily open it with one hand.

When it's soft, the fabric gets pulled with the zipper and you need to hold the fabric while opening the zipper.

The end of the zipper is made longer and it extends down to the soft section.

This allows you to open the bag wide.

The bottom is leather, and it has hard stabilizing sheet inside that is made specifically for the bag bottom.

When you open the zipper, it opens wide like this with the added gusset

The handle is leather.

New design bag with Japanese floral print

Just finished making this new design bag.

I have used my favorite Japanese flower print fabric.

It has two wide folds at the top which creates fluffy look

and made more room inside.

From side it looks like this.

The fluffy outside is shaped by this hard centre frame.

Having two frames at the centre make it stand on its own.

The bag opens wide like this.

It has a small pocket and a zipper pocket

and this zipper pocket is very roomy and opens wide like this.

It fitted 600ml water bottle, a small book, iphone 5, and a tissue,

and a purse inside the zipper compartment.

Very safe!

It comes with the length adjustable strap.

Make it short and use it as a shoulder bag or

make it long and use it as a messenger type bag.
