Yesterday, I have made this antique looking display shelf for the coin cases.
Looks like real wood doesn't it?
Well, it's not.
It is made of cardboard!!
I've used the faux wood grain painting technique, and I am very pleased with the outcome.
Now, this is not the amazing part of this shelf.
The most amazing part of it is this.
You detach the back stand
Then pull out the shelves
then fold side boards
and you have a flat pack shelf ready to go!
Just love this!
I don't know how I came up with this idea. but when I started cutting the boards,
it slowly built up in my head, I guess.
I used this circle window part of the board on purpose.
I'll make this shelf a bit more interesting later!
