2 story pouches

This story pouch is about the dancing bird in New Guinea, called Parotia.
It is featured in BBC nature program, and it cleans the floor before practicing the dance.
It dances for a while but realises that no one's watching.

This second story pouch is the Koala bear being curious with the snail it found.

a story toto bag "after the rain"

I have made this small toto bag with a story.
The story is about this white dog and a cat running outside right after the rain.
The world is so shiny with rain drops and make two of them jump with joy.
The dog finds a girl and the cat finds a snail.

a story of sleepy Koala bear

This is a second of the simple pouch with a story.
This one is the story of sleepy Koala bear.
He trys to have a nap anywhere, but this branch may not be the right place as it looks too weak on his weight.

my new waterproof canvas bag

This is my recent hand made bag using the water proof cotton canvas (#8).
I am making 2 more of this same shape and will not be making this shape again.
With this bag, I have sewn the linen fabric I have stitched the simple + sashiko, onto the flap with a stamped blue fabric.


The back of the flap is lined with this gorgeous fabric I have bought here.


There are side pockets on each side, and it can be made flat by closing it with a snap.
The pocket can be made wide enough to fit 600ml water bottle inside.


There are two pockets infront, and has 2 pen holders inside one of them.

There are 4 inner pockets that are about 20cm deep.

The bag is fastned by 50cm long zipper which comes down about 5cm on each side to allow an easy access inside.

a story pouch

Just a small cute pouch! ^^
It's nice to work on something small for a change.
I came up with this story when I imagined how hot it is in Japan right now.
I remembered going to an aquarium in summer and seeing beautiful creatures there.
and remembered that there were some funny characters there too.
This seal represents this funny character I sew.
The girl jumps when it suddenly appears infront of her.

a camera bag for canon

This is the camera bag I made for my husband's canon.

He always wanted to have a camera bag that is water proof, and now that I have lots of this water proof canvas cotton, I was able to make one for him.

I have selected white cotton for inside fabric as he is terrible at finding things that are right infront of him. The colour should hopefully help him find it on his own.

The inside is made soft by using a batting, and 1cm thinck foam at the bottom.

The divider is also made with the soft foam, and it can be removed as it is fixed by the velcroe at the top.

It fitted all the items below, and still had more space to fill.
