a laptop carry bag

I have just finished this bag today.
The blue part is the pocket which is divided into two.
The handle is sewn directly on the base of the bag.
I have hand painted the bird, and sewn the teary button eye on it.
The blue and grey fabrics are both 100% linen, and the red pattern part is cotton.
I have used a very thick felt like batting and a hard interfacing to strengthen the fabrics.
The bag can be carried as is, or you can attach the length adjustable strap to the side and carry it long on your body.
This is the back side of the bag. The sewn on handles actually give a character to this simple side.

The zipper is 60cm long, and can be opened both ways. The zipper is YKK.

This is the one side of the inner wall. There is a 30cm zipper pocket to carry any valuables you want to keep out of site. There are 3 card size pockets, and one pocket with a flap.

The pocket with flap has two tack for extra room to carry bulky things like your mouse. The flap is fastened by a velcroe.

The three card size pockets can be used to carry your memory stick, IDs, point cards, etc.

The bag has a strengthening board at the bottom which you can remove.
It has a 2mm thick card inside.

The other side of the inside wall has one pocket and an elastic band.

You can insert your A4 file inside the pocket, and secure it by the elastic band.
The elastic band can be loosened by the velcroe.
The elastic band is also used to put your laptop in place.
