Hand made sewing box

Sorry for not updating my blog for a long time!

I've been busy making things for my web shop.

This box is one of my work which I will be selling in the shop.

This is a sewing box I have made with Cartonnage technique.

This leather handle is an offcuts I bought at Freo.

It matches well with the Liberty patchwork!

The front looks like this, and when you open it...

Tadaa!  It's a sewing box with a elastic pockets on the back of the lid!

The bottom part is a drawer to store your sewing tools!

It will easily store 1000m thread too!

Just finished making this natural patch bag.

I've used linen and cotton print fabrics, and added embroidery and sashiko stitches as an accent.

I've used Italian linen, Japanese linen and cotton.

Bee hive type of card holder purse bag

This is my new purse bag using pure linen and the Liberty cotton.

20cm zipper pocket at the back.

It has a bee hive type of card pockets inside, with whole size pocket at each side.

You can store your notes in one of the pocket, and

coins in a zipper pocket.

Two front pockets are useful to carry your mobile, keys, etc.

Side will widen with elastic.

This is the trial purse I made, which I will force it upon my friend to use. ; )

I don't need it as I don't have many cards.

It has nothing at the back, so maybe I should put something here, like a pocket, in future.

When you ope the purse, it opens up like this! Funny hah?

This main section is a card holder.

I think it will hold about 22 cards?

Sorry, too complicated to count.

I'll try the next time.

The side pocket will keep your notes,

There's even a zipper pocket to keep your coins!

This funny card holder can be used to keep your little items, like memo, candy, gum, etc.

I don't know who thought of this idea, but it's brilliant!!
