Iphone 3 case with gorgeous kimono fabric

This is the Iphone 3 case I made on request.
I was requested to use kimono fabric, and
I was asked to "surprise her", so, here it is!

Working on requested cases

This is the design for the requested Samsung case.

And this is the requested Iphone3 case with Meisen Kimono silk with interfacing.

And this is the Ipad Mini case.

I'm working as efficiently as possible, but just found out I didn't have a hock in my stock.
So I'm going to steal some from my mum until I get more stock in.

Working on the requests

Thank you all for coming to the Hinata Cafe on Sunday!
It was a wonderful day and I had a great time talking to each one of you!!
I am going to work on all requests from today,
but I must finish the work my husband had given me first.
If I leave it to the last, he will nag me every day so it's much easier for me to get rid of his job first.
Since I only have two hands, and like to put my heart into each work, it may take time to finish your requests, but when it is finished, I'll e-mail you directly.

Thank you very much for your patience, and will get back to you soon!!

Oh, and also, I have re-opened the Etsy shop!
Samsung case will be added to the shop soon.

cute???matryoshka

Please Note:
I have closed my Etsy shop temporary until after Hinata Cafe Event.
The requested Samsung slate PC case will be made after the event and will be
uploaded onto the Etsy shop.

**

I don't know about "cute", but the faces I made have become 3 matryoshkas.

"mother with big heart"

"elder daughter with an honest heart"

" younger daughter with a cool heart"

Have all three in your heart, and you are a wise person.

They will come in this box, which

I've decorated with frankie magazine cut outs.

Loove Frankie!

What the hell am I making??

The Hinata Cafe event is near, and I'm making price tags,

faces.....???

hall sign using cardboard

queue posts for the canteen area....
using cardboard

I thought I was making bags and purses with fabric for my stall.

Well, when you have about 40 items all in one room,
you start to loose incentive to make more.
Instead, you start to wonder if any of them will sell or not.
This is the unhealthy timing for me, so I'm occupying my mind by making something else.

Now I'm going to make my own apron!  For the event of course.
With lots of handy pockets to keep my changes.

More purse bags

I have finished organising my display, so I am now making extra bags for my stall.

This is the purse bag made with purple Italian linen and other fabrics.

My friend found out that this back zipper pocket fits iphone and other smart phones!

I have used this beautiful Meisen kimono fabric inside.
I have strengthened the fabric by using 2 layers of interfacing.

This is the second one I made.

They will come with a strap which is length adjustable.

wood effect on cardboard shelf

I found this dark wood effect adhesive sheet at Bunnings, so I covered the cardboard shelf with it.
It looks OK, and it made it a bit more durable.

Today I made another display thing for my stall.

A cardboard box with a hanging board on top!
I covered the box with the same wood effect sheet.

I used the craft board I got from craft shop for this sign board.
I can now hang my small bags here.

I tested it, and it works great!
All I need to do now is to make few more bags for the stall!
